Something blog-worthy has finally come up.
After over two weeks of silence on the online front, I now have something new to write about - something so mind-blowing, so earth-shattering as to drag me away from World in Conflict and inspire me to write this blog entry.
Pardon this slight digression, but you heard that right folks, I finally got World in Conflict! Scratch another game from my wishlist! Yes, I now have the top three items on my Christmas wishlist loaded into my hard drive; only Company of Heroes and Medieval 2: Total War remain beyond my reach.
Just this morning I set aside a good two hours to play through the first few missions of the game. I tell you, nothing can surpass the sheer joy of watching a flight of A-10 tankbusters mow through columns of Soviet tanks.
With that out of the way, let's get back to the story. Something so unheard of, something so extreme has made me dust-off my keyboard and start typing this entry.
There I was, walking down the corridor. The door was near and all was quiet. Thank God for a good, hearty breakfast; I never felt so alive on a Monday before.
Again, pardon the slight digression, but I have now resolved to eat breakfast. Before, I have neglected this important meal because of tight schedules. Now, as part of my extremely non-conformist campaign to GAIN weight, I will now make sure that I get to eat three complete meals everyday. It helps that I can now expect a good helping of near-Casa Linda quality corned beef, fried rice, and eggs every morning - with a steaming cup of coffee of course.
Alright. Let's get on with it. The weather this morning was just right. The trip was quick and I even got a few minutes of nap time. Room 209 beckoned. The clock? Well, the clock was at
9:52.
After months of coming to class at least 15 minutes late,
I ARRIVED EARLY.
Yes. For the first time in a very long time, I arrived early for class. Prof. Lambino was not waiting at her table, some of my classmates were not yet in the room, and I even had time to relax. My seatmate even shook my hand in congratulation. Damn.
Hahaha. Now that's newsworthy!
Right. I've got to go. I'll probably have something new posted within the next few days.
That is, if Call of Duty 4's "Death from Above" mission doesn't suck me in again.
Hehehehe...
